Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live now a PlayStation VR launch title in the West, priced at $15 per Stage

Sega moves the Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live release earlier and gives pricing details and the first songs.

By Ernest Lin on 3 October 2016

Previously, Sega announced Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live was coming to North America and Europe, releasing digitally on October 14, one day after the PlayStation VR launch. Now, the Japanese publisher has moved the release earlier to the PS VR launch date of October 13 and additionally provided pricing details.

Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live will be split into 3 Stages, each containing a unique set of songs and priced at $14.99 each. The first Stage will release on October 13, with the other two Stages coming out at later, unannounced dates.

Stage 1 will include the following seven songs:

- Love Trial by 40mP
- 1/6 - out of the gravity - by noa
- Satisfaction by kz
- Weekender Girl by kz & Hachioji P
- 39 by DECO*27 & sasakure.UK
- Cute Medley - Idol Sounds by Mitchie M
- Love Song by Lamaze-P

Here’s the official description from Sega:

“Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live is a virtual reality Miku concert experience like no other. Putting on the PSVR headset transports you to a huge stadium filled with cheering Miku fans. Players can move throughout the audience or even up on stage to get the best vantage point of the event! They'll also be able to keep time with their controllers, err I mean glow sticks, during song performances in order to unlock various easter eggs. After progressing through three songs, players will get a special solo encore performance by Miku!“

Excellent. A nice addition to the diverse psvr line up. A unique title for sure.

$15 per stage seems pretty pricey

Given the amount of songs, yes.  But I'm sure it's about that "ultimate experience."

Meh, hopefully it will come to PC and I will either get it through a discount or yar it since as far as I can tell, there isn't much in terms of actual gameplay.

As much as I love miku, I love my wallet more

Of the four songs that I know on the list, I like each of those, but never heard the other 3

The whole VR premise with watching a digital live concert is a bit strange though :/
