If it's a perfect adaptation, then that defnitely is an advantage for anime, since it provides voice acting and OST. I could still go either way personally...since I absorb content easier when I can read at my own pace...but the advantages I just mentioned make up for it.

That being said... I can't say I've ever seen a perfect adaptation...so this is all hypothetical anyway.
