I'm better off waiting for Volta at this point. The price range for the current 1080 is already too high for me, so waiting for the Ti is out of the question. I'd hardly call it "for the masses", considering the masses don't all go out and buy £600+ GPU's. The price range is still going to be high and the performance isn't exactly going to set the world on fire. Recent benches for Forza 3 with a 1080 make me laugh and sigh at the same time.
Article can boast flops all it wants, not like we've seen high end GPU's being put to proper use for gaming outside of the upcoming Star Citizen.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
