PS4 Pro power is being underestimated, says former DriveClub dev

Do not underestimate the power of PS4 Pro, reckons the former director behind DriveClub. Sounds like it's going to blow our socks off in 4K.

By Michael Harradence on 26 September 2016

Too many people are underestimating the power of PlayStation Pro without actually having seen the new console in action, argues Paul Rustchynsky, the former director of the PS4-exclusive racer, DriveClub.

Writing on Twitter, Rustchynsky also touched briefly on the upcomingDriveClub VR, which is launching alongside Sony’s PlayStation VR headset on October 13, 2016. You can read his thoughts on PS4 Pro and the new racing title below.

DriveClub was developed by Evolution Studios, the same developer responsible for the PS3-exclusive MotorStorm franchise. Sadly, it emerged earlier this year that Sony had decided to close the U.K.-based studio, although fortunately Codemasters quickly snapped up its staff and the team are currently working on a new project.

As a result of Evolution’s closure, DriveClub VR is being handled by a new developer in the shape of Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) Immersive Technology Group. The game offers a series of new tracks and challenges, plus the added immersion of playing with PSVR for the first time.

PS4 Pro is scheduled for release on November 10, 2016 priced $399/£349. The console was announced during Sony’s New York City-based PlayStation Meeting earlier this month, where it also confirmed the release of the PS4 Slim.

Just straight and copying and pasting never works out well.

Sorry, but the one thing I have yet to "get" is "copying" tweets.

You click on the three dots - then click on "Copy Link To Tweet" and then copy that link and paste.

Wow, that was almost magical.  Thanks.  How can I repay you?

EDIT: Still having "issues."  maybe I'm too old to understand how this "tweet" works.

Personally, I'm not underestimating the power of the console. My issue is selling a moderately powered up releasing only a few years after the original console released and then trying to sell it as something new and exciting. That really doesn't sit well with me at all...

The OP looks fine now. That is how it is suppose to look like lol.

Thanks again.  It's just the tweets on the original article doesn't quite match up to the post.
