I could be the first guy to take a piss on Mars, and with Mars low gravity you'd get some serious distance too!

Or it going back to your face.
Think about it.

That could happen... You'd have to give it a real good push out. Just to make sure. You don't want to look like the Mars colony fool.

We should focus on the Musk idea first. Sending people on a one way trip doesn't sit well with me. Will probably make quite the horror movie one day though, I suppose.

Around the Network

seems a little bit of a waste of money, knowing how many billions it will cost and how little we will likely get out of it. Human technology is a million years away from being capable of utilizing any other planet or space exploration.

Look at technology now compared to 50 years ago- the only particularly big difference would be the internet and cell phones, both of which were techinically figured out by then anyway.

Seems to me like there are a lot of on Earth issues presently that money could be better put to solve. I mean for gods sake people haven't even figured out yet how to efficiently use solar energy yet we're spending billions on things that just are flashy and not realistically helpful? putting a man on Mars won't result in any information that a robot can't provide for much cheaper

just saying.

It's still going to be 'in the next 25 years' like it's always been, though that 'official goal' does make me kinda hard.
What are the odds this bill won't pass?

Elon Musk will do it in 6 years acvording to news today, I will look for the link.

Listened to him earlier this night. I think he said by 2026, which to me is almost soon enough, so i'm quite hyped.

+The colonization plans.
