Another franchise possibly exclusive to Wii, good news for Wii owners. Let's hope those games are at Sega's event and there should be some nice new info to go along with them.

I’ve never tried Nights or Skies of Arcadia but I'd be interested in another Skies game. I remember watching a friend on the original Skies years ago and I've been close to buying the GC re-release for a while now. I'd almost certainly buy SoA2 if the rumors prove true

“When we decided to finally make a sequel to NiGHTS, we didn’t know which console it would be for,” he recalled. “We only decided later on that we would develop the game for the Wii. But I think it was a good choice – should we make another instalment, we would make it for the Wii.”

So yeah, Mr. Nights Man Takashi Iizuka ain't budging from the Wii.

I heard it before and totally "pfft"'d it, but if true my source' track record just got better.

Here's hoping for SOA 2 for Wii as well (SOA:L was my fav jrpg for 6th gen games) :)

I'm hoping for SOA for Wii or 360, it may seem that I am an xbot or n fanboy for wanting this. But a part of me is still extremely upset about the many sony fanboys back in the day that screamed Skies of Arcadia was a rip off of Final Fantasy...SOA was completely different and brought so many new ideas.

For the NiGHTS game, I'd say it was in development before JOD was even released, so its perfectly logical to assume that they'd press forward with it. I'm hoping for the PS2 game personally.

As for SOA, they confirmed they were working on it way back around 2003, so its very conceivable that they picked it up and are finishing it for Wii/PS2. Wouldn't make economic since to upgrade it to X360/PS3, and Sega's all about making money.

If they announce skies for Wii, I would have to upgrade from my GC earlier than I'd planned. Only game right now that could make me do that.
