Forums - Gaming - PS4 Pro’s Price Puts Microsoft In A Hole With The Scorpio

Soundwave said:

Microsoft's best bet would be to improve on ways beyond just GPU power. Have a better CPU and more RAM (this will be a stab through the heart of the PS4 Pro).

Also move up the Scorpio date to August 2017 (Madden time) or even earlier if possible. Just make sure you have a few very nice looking games for launch.

Killer Instinct 4K, some third party stuff, you don't need Halo VR right for day 1.

The only issue for MS is if they try and do to much and make it to different from the PS4 is could affect future perfomance of their games if it becomes to hard to makes games for PS4 and X1. Ps4 is the top seller so devs will focus on it.

4.2 tf > 1.4 tf

Because you know... There is nothing else that influences graphics quality other than flops apparantly. *face palm*

1440-1800p is marginal at best?

Is there a generational difference in graphics quality? No. Then we can call it marginal.

And just so you know. I have been gaming at 1440P for almost a decade, I'm well aware of the difference.

Pachter said it. This means that the Ps4 is doomed.
