No idea - never played it. My point still stands though.

Candy Crush might live on because a lot of people (especially women) like match 3 type of games but I don't see Rovio being able to milk Angry Birds too much longer.  I believe Angry Birds will go the way of Farmville.  No one cares about Farmville anymore and that was kind of big awhile back.

Still, those IPs are new IPs that were incredibly successful. Having an existing popular IP is not a prerequisite.

Despite making mobile games for years they didn't learn what sells and what doesn't, until Pokémon GO. Sometimes I wonder why CEO's and other higher ups gets paid like they do; WE'VE known for a long while that you can't simply port console games to mobile and expect it to succeed.

Well, they've not ported any console game to mobile.

As I understood it, their mobile games are quite similar to their console games - kinda like the Vita, I guess.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Well, you're mistaken. Their mobile games look nothing like their console games. Run Sackboy Run is an infinite runner. Fortune Hunter is a puzzle game. Knack's Quest is a match 3.

For the AR they already have that one.
Invizimals. Sony is so stupid they don't what do with it.
The problem with the current Sony is they became a follower not a leader.
They stop taking chances.

When I saw how Pokemon GO works. I remembered invizimals. That game could be a big thing but no. I think some of the folks on Sony are scrathching their heads. They lost their chances when Pokemon Go came out.
If only Sony focus on this game this could have big with the Kids.
They could have release this one on their Sony Phone through SEN network that's compatible on any Xperia phones then release it on Android and Apple store later on.

I stand corrected! But that does sound like awefully boring games.

PS1/PS2/PSP and new games could be a smash hit. Tons of games for all ages. More than anything Nintendo can offer.

A warrior keeps death on the mind from the moment of their first breath to the moment of their last.

I had a dream they announced a new Xperia at the PlayStation event lol, mayb it was a premonition...

Either Sony will have to take some time to really about the type of games they're putting on mobile, I think with Nintendo it's a bit more straight forward

They're well-crafted for what they are but, yeah, they're pretty by-the-numbers games.

Just as Super Mario Run seems to be... man, that was kind of a let down.

You would have to narrow that down to the Sony owned IP at which point I think Nintendo would have the greater number of their own IP to play with.
