Forums - Gaming - Anyone played Persona 2: Innocent sin?

The Vita release

It's on sale and i thought about getting it. But read that there's a bit of a problem. Persona 2 was a duology (like Digital Devil Saga). The 2nd part came out first (yeah you read that right, only Japan got the first part)) in the west for the PS1, then Atlus tried to fill that void by releasing Innocent Sin for PSP, a new version of the first part.

So my question to those who played it, how unsatisfying is the ending? Without spoiling please. Is it totally "this resolves nothing" and pretty much pointless without somehow playing the PS1 release afterwards? Or can you be satisfied just finishing Innocent sin?

Around the Network

Actually I just bought it today for the PSP on eBay today, it might take a while before I get it, though. Innocent Sin is good enough on its own from what I hear, but you're really missing out if you don't get Eternal Punishment. Do they not have PS1 classics on the Vita? Also, some of the party members are from the first Persona, so if you want to know who they are you might want to play the first one as well (that game also got a PSP re-release, though it doesn't let you use the original soundtrack).

I thought it wasn't on PSN..because it's not there in the EU store. But after you said that I looked it up and it's in the US store. So I guess I can get it in the NA account and play the 2nd part on PS3 after finishing first part on Vita

Thanks
