Forums - Sony - Vita's release schedule is INSANE for Sept./Oct.

Sounds pretty good for Vita owners. There will be some games for them to choose from in Sept and Oct. The list reminds me though, I def need to get Half Genie Hero since that game is finally coming out. Yeah!

I don't bang the drum as often I used to, but it might be my favorite system ever. Certainly my favorite handheld. 200+ games for me. Gonna need a fifth 32gb card soon. Yes, I know about the 64gb, just don't like ordering stuff. Just started Final Horizon......Fantastic so far.

Am I a bad Vita owner for not being hyped about most of that list? It's hard to tell nowadays which games are dating sims and which ones are real JRPGs.

Yes.

Developers know that VITA audience, and they know how to cater that audience.

It's that and unconventional titles such as Corpse Party and Danganronga.

If there is indeed a new handheld coming from Sony, and if they make Vita2 backward compatible, the timing of these releases makes perfect sense. That's two 'ifs' though and I'm not investing just yet.

In many respects I feel like the Vita is a 1990s system in regards to its library.  Really takes me back to SNES/PS1 days with so many games made targeted to me.

I'm not sure Steins;Gate Zero will release at this date... (at least for EU, don't know for US)

It was already scheduled for August by some retailers without any official date, and when the "August release date" came up with still no news they pushed this date to September. And now, still no news and they just announced the limited edition a few days ago with a "2016" date. If the game was supposed to release in less than a month, maybe they would have announced it with this LE...

Anyway, too many games and I won't be able to play everything, I will surely wait for sales and put some of them in my backlog! (Nep Nep and Psycho Pass for example, Steins Zero LE is already preordered)

Well we only got confirmation of a release date like two weeks before Trails of Cold Steel II comes out so you never know. Though as hyped as I am for Steins;Gate 0 I wouldn't be too mad if it didn't make it in September.

Seriously, it's ridiculous. I don't understand how we keep getting so many games here considering Vita's current situation in North America.  Here's what it looks like just for retail games (Plus DQB due to Asian English release).

because its still a PlayStation
