I don't think this is true but congrats on your future neo purchase.  Do you think FF15 will be significantly improved on it?

Probably be 60FPS 1080P and run pretty smooth.  Which won't be the case on the regular ps4.

Idk about significantly but from the demoes and etc I have seen, it has pretty noticable framerate drops on ps4/x1... If I can get stable 1080p 30fps on Neo, it will be worth it for me (plus the other PS exclusives like bloodborne getting stable fps)

Personally I'd be dissapointed if it couldn't run it at 1080p 60fps. Like isn't the thing meant to support certain titles at 4k 30fps?  I know they'd be simpler games but still I'd expect a 1080p open world game to run at 60fps.

From recent footage, the game looks like it needs a delay.

Yeah, something was definitely wrong with that trailer today.

Na it's just the shitty engine. The only reason they would delay the game is because of frame rate.

Eh, with the current rumors, 60fps will be difficult cause the cpu doesn't seem to be increased much which is what open world games tax the most. But we shall see when Sony actually reveals the thing since rumors are only rumors and Sony might see what MS is doing and decide to go with something more powerful. 1080p 60fps would certainly be nice tho. Would be epic!

Um go check Digital foundry's recent neo benchmarks, the neo can easily run 1080 60fps. Even 1440 60fps if devs optimize properly.

Seeing how close it already is to release date, I'm not really buying this one, a 2 month delay even.

Link? Cause the only one that I remember them doing was the one with the 480 + i7

I'd really hope so.  I don't want to be paying for an upgrade if it doesn't mean 60fps for open world games.  Like you said though we just have to wait and see.

I get the feeling some people would welcome a delay.

Good. Was going to skip launch due to the WoW xpac release (Legion)

I'm ok with this if true.

I wouldn't mind a delay if that means the game will be more polished and hopefully with stable framerate.
