Haha look at people spinning this.

Anyway I don't think it will always be one gen behind. I think in future, for example PS5 gen they might upload games to it say 2 years after they've released and lost their retail value. So like how a dvd can be rented after it's released in the cinema.

Sounds alot like how Microsoft have been doing it for the past few years. Wait until the game drops value than rerelease it on PC to spark some more dollars. Its a smart move.

Exactly.  Ps now would never do well enough on just Playstation platforms.  It needs to be on everything possible.  Same as ps VUE.  Sony were always going to do this.

And as you say it's similar to Microsoft and their xbox software now. They know they can't sell enough on just the XB1 so they have to go looking for the pc market to help them out.  it won't be long before most of their games launch on pc at the same time as xbox.

Around the Network

Got the service last week and finally got to finish Shadow of the Colossus. Looking forward to replay Demon's Souls once it finally appears in PS Now (please Sony, add Demon's Souls to the service).

Next up I'll go for some ICO and maybe get a couple of RPGs done. A cool thing about it is that I'm getting now trophies for those games. Since I changed my PSN ID I had lost all my previous trophies and finally I can get back some of the PS3 ones.

I was a bit hesitant to get the PS Now because of the lag, but it's really quite ok for the most part. I played both on Vita and on PS4 and no complains. I did feel a bit while playing SF 3rd Strike at the later parts of the game. The reaction time can be pretty unforgiving. On racing games it's quite good. Same for adventure games with some platforming. RPGs is a non issue and the same can be said for Tell Tale type of games.

I would say I just want more frequent game updates (like new games every week), that would probably guarantee my subscription for as long as the service would be around.

So good for me if now I can also use it on PC :)

So gaming as a service is not going to kill gaming anymore? Good! The sooner we get to choose any platform to play any game the better.

Glad to hear you're enjoying it.  It really is an awesome service!
