My top 5 favorite fighting games
1.Smash Bros series
2. Marvel vs Capcom series
3. Capcom vs Snk series
4. Power Stone
5.Street Fighter series
Virtua Fighter is my favorite, though I haven't played 5, only 2,3, and 4... the arcade scene in Finland just sucks big time. And arcade is the only REAL place to play fighting games ;)
I've tried Tekken every now and then, but it just doesn't feel right after coming from VF.
They both arnt that great, although tekken tag was okish......... DOA has best gameplay hands down, graphics are on par with virtual fighter aswell. (tekken graphics arnt good at all). But best all round has to be Street Fighter, even though the graphics suck, there meant to suck. 2d fighting, even though it seems outdated, is probably the most challenging and entertaining.
