Yeah this is the original Dead rising, not Dead rising 4

Hmm, the first Dead Rising was a solid effort, but I don't think I'd double dip - unless this remaster/remake/whatever makes significant alterations to gameplay.

Still, awesome news for those who never invested in the original!

This one might be different though and likely will follow the RoTR method. It's confirmed timed exclusive for X1 and Win10 this holiday for a year period. Then Steam and PS4 afterwards most likely. Just because they don"t talk about it specifically doesn't mean it's console exclusive like 3 was. A Capcom dev said "Play it first" on X1 and Win10 and after the Tomb Raider PR blunder I don't think anyone wants that type of backlash again.

Wow pretty awesome espacially as this one was made by the original japanese devolopers, i can remember this game being pretty cool, i hope it gets a physical release too

That would be awesome. Never got to play the 1st one much. Come to think of it, I need to play the 2nd one. I have it, but never got around to playing it.

Aaaah! That's cool. I played the demo on the 360, but even though I liked it well enough, decided to pass on a purchase. Interested to see what form the PS4 version takes.

That's a shame! I honestly consider Dead Rising to be one of the best and most original games of last gen. You shouldn't pass the opportunity to play it if this port happens.
