Still don't want to watch that video yet how will others see your discoveries? With 18 quintillion planets (whether a US or British quintillion) there's no chance of happening on an already discovered planet if everybody starts at a different spot? I we go for the much smaller US quintillion, 18 quintillion is still 180 million times as many planets as estimated in out own little Galaxy.
Nice trailer but i still worry that after a few days it will get mega boring
I love the entire concept of this game, if people want it to be Call of duty, they can go play call of duty instead.. Nuff said!

I'm actually wonderign when we'll eventually get to see what the PC version looks like. Haven't seen a drop since the announcement that the game will launch at the same time some months ago.

Video seems it was edited carefully to avoid shots of the massive amount of geometry pop-in, seen in other videos.
Hopefuly that is something that wont be an issue.

I don't really think so because there is actually a story to the game. So, it depends on how long it takes you to beat the story and whether or not you get sidetracked by exploration or other quests. You can make a beeline for the cente but you still have to explore/mine somewhat in order to upgrade your ship.

I doubt it will be worse than Minecraft or something like that but it is also running on PC as well so if you have a really beefy PC, play it on max in 4K. The thing about this game is that things litterly arn't there before you get to them so thats why there isn't a more cleaner LOD transition. Eitherway, the gameplay I have seen doesn't bother me.
