This and the idea of a 4th split where Ganondorf got his wish instead of the king in Wind Waker are the most solid theories imo. I sort of lean towards the adult timeline instead of the downfall timeline because the Temple of Time is nowhere to be found in the downfall timeline (And if it's in that timeline it has to be after ALBW), while it would just have been underneath the sea in Wind Waker.
