On VGChartz, I'm all about the hypotheticals. What if X studio made Y game? What if A company resurrected B franchise?

Well, here's the latest hypothetical: if forced to choose between the following three combos, which would you pick, and why?

In each three-system combo, you'll find a single Nintendo system, a single Xbox system, and a single PlayStation system - all drawn from the sixth, seventh, and eighth generations.

Note: for the sake of this experiment please act as if backward compatibility doesn't exist. I can already smell people trying to outgame the contest

Option 1:
PlayStation 2, Nintendo Wii, Xbox One

Option 2:
GameCube, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4

Option 3:
Xbox, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii U

And, again, please tell us why.

Option 2:

Playstation 4 - Already has an amazing library and with many more amazing games to come, any great PS3 games I missed techinically has a remaster (GoW3, Uncharted collection, TLoU), also huge JRPG revival!

Xbox 360 - Halo, Gears, has some of the best multiplatform games to come out that gen.

Gamecube - Bunch of Zeldas, Resident Evils, MGS The Twin Snakes, ...best of all Smash, MK and Mario Party (As always, any Nintendo system is my party system)

Np! The 'no backwards compatibility' rule made me think a bit, but thank goodness for Remasters :P

Tough choice. I really can't pick one right now :P

I loved all of these consoles (maybe slightly less for the NWii)...

right now im loving the PS3 80gb BC console (PS2/PS1), WiiU, and the all mighty PS4

I picked 1 because I like Nintendo games os the Wii doesn't anoy me, XOne is not the ebst but it has nice games and the PS2 is the best console ever, so ye I was gona pick that one even if it was just PS2 and then no conosles on the other 2 gens.

Ugh, this is too hard. I can't pick between the 3 Ninten consoles. They all have great games among them... I guess I'd go with....

Wii U / PS3 / 360

Wii U currently has the most games I enjoy now, which quite a bit of online to enjoy as well, and it has the most current smash bros.

I'll go with PS2 because I gotta. Otherwise I'd go with PS3. PS2s break too much for me, so I fear if I went with PS2, I'd have to replace it eventually.

360 cuz... that console looks likes it has a lot of cool games...

Yeah, I considered that one, but I thought it would dominate the others.
