I have my PS3 hooked up to an HDTV in the living room and I stream movies and music using the media extender capability just fine. I want to take the PS3 out of the living room completely to my office (replaced by a standlone Blu ray player) and hook it up to my 24" Dell LCD display.
Problem is I still want to be able to stream my movies on the PS3 to the HDTV in the living room without (you know) the physical connection. I know I am missing a piece for this setup to work thats even if its possible. Can somebody find the missing piece(s) that I have to purchase and then explain the process of putting it all together, below is all the hardware that I currently have.
Two HDTV's (One is the 24" display)
One PS3 60gig (now 250gigs)
One Desktop PC P4 @ 3.0GHz, 1gig of RAM
One laptop AMD Dual Core, 2gigs of RAM
High Speed Internet 6.0mbps downstream, 768kbps upstream
Ethernet and Wireless home network
