Forums - General - Dad defends son(convicted rapist); "it was only 20 minutes of action"

Forgive me for not empathising with the kind of scum who drags unconscious women behind dumpsters and rapes them.

I have to agree with this sentiment, I doubt his dad would brush it off as only "20 minutes" if it was his daughter, wife or sister as the victim, the shit people say will never cease to amaze me.

I was speaking in general and referring mostly about the father's comment (since that's what the topic is really about), but thanks for proving my point of people worried about virtue signaling not considering context.

That dude who raped thar girl is not just a rapist, he's a son, he's someone's little boy in his father's memory, he's loved by his father (all presumably) and has someone that is worried about his future. God forbit his father takes his son's side. No, the son is just a rapist, that's all he ever was and all he will ever be. Throw him outer space, pls. Now give me a pat in the back for how righteous I am, pls.

Unfortunately the past doesn't matter. Whether if he's a drug dealer or the president of the United States, this was a horrible case that should give him a long prison sentence.

With this logic, bin Laden was much more than a terrorist. He was a great son and leader for many men.

This is ridiculous while Cory Batey gets minimum 15-25years in prison.

Personally, they should make a rule that anybody that gets caught raping automatically gets castrated. That'll definitely get the men to think twice about doing something so stupid.

That's a terrible idea, and here's why. False allegations (and convictions) happen. Imprisoning someone for something they didn't do is one thing, but the potential of imprisoning someone and then castrating them is absurd.

It's worse when many viral rape cases have the victim automatically trusted without a doubt.

I don't want to doubt victims, but I always wait to see proof. People don't realize how serious rape allegations truly are. Once you're accused of rape, there goes your life.

Do we know that he dragged her there? Not sure if memory serves, but the people who stopped him and contradicted his story only did when he had already raped her, right? Did anyone report that he dragged her there unconscious.

Gee, my mistake, I forgot that raping unconscious women is just fine. It's how you get them to the location that matters.

That's exactly the point I was addressing. Guess it's fine to pull facts out of your behind because someone committed a crime.

Where in Hell did I say the bolded? Read my post again. I was clear that he deserves to be punushed and that it was in no way fine. But don't let facts get in your way.

That's the thing, though. He is the father of the rapist. Of course he is biased and of course he would feel completely differently had that happened to his daughter. That goes without saying.

What a fuck Tard!

Put them both to sleep like a dog.

Who's saying otherwise? What I'm talking about is  that the father taking his son's side is not crazy. Reading skills, pls.
