Forums - Gaming - Well I'm giving up the Uncharted series forever.

When I first got Uncharted Golden Abyss, I thought to myself that this one ONE GREAT series and had a desire to get all the games. So I did.

Uncharted 1,2,3... I got them all. Uncharted 1 was GARBAGE to me, very unrealistic, the enemies were impossible to kill (about 5 seconds of machine gun shots and they still pick up their weapon and kill you in 2 shots) but thats ANOTHER thread I made earlier. In that thread I proved how bad the game really was. It was WAY TOO HARD to enjoy.

But after that game I took a break because that game gave me so much stress (I thought Uncharted was suppose to be fun?) Then people were talking about the newely released Uncharted 4 that came out. So I needed to check that out. BESIDES graphics it seemed like another  unfair Uncharted game like the 1st uncharted. But people said the 1st Uncharted was way different than the rest so I decided to play Uncharted 2..........

So this is where I knew Uncharted was NOT my type of game at all. Yeah sure Uncharted 2 was easier (better) than the 1st game but it still didn't give me fun (even though thats what I paid for). Like i was STILL running out of ammo, and whenever I got ammo IT WASN'T for the same gun I had. The bad guys always were hiding away and it made it very stressful to kill them while others came out of hiding and starts shooting you. It's pretty much like playing Hit the Weasels with the hammer or something. The story was alright I guess. And I just wasn't hooked on the game at all... It was dull, not exciting, boring and unfair. If you go to my earlier uncharted threat you'll see me explaining further detail on why i dont like Uncharted... So after 2 bad Uncharted experiences I'm not even going to play Uncharted 3 or 4. It felt like I was doing homework playing the first 2 games but I'm done. I learned Uncharted is no Zelda, or The Last of Us... Uncharted is Uncharted...Goodbye Uncharted, I'm sure you're making other millions of players happy. But you're just not my type of game.   I wish you the best of luck in the future.

You still can't aim?
Never have heard someone say Uncharted games are hard rofl Even Crushing isn't that hard. There's an option with auto aim in Uncharted 4. Always wondered whom it might benefit but now I know lol

Huh. Uncharted is ripe for criticism in a number of areas, but I've never thought of it as overly difficult. Some of the enemies are bullet sponges, but in general I've never found the games to be especially challenging.

So you're telling me that the bad guys won't stand there and let you shoot them? That's horrible. I'm sorry you had to go through that.

Then I am happy to announce Uncharted 4 offers the explorer difficulty with auto aim for those who want to feel they are Rambo and failed. With auto aim you don't even need to aim, just press R2 and drake does the rest.

Well every game appears to be unfun and too challenging for you. Why do you constantly submit yourself to this form of entertainment then? I'm just wondering.

Or alternatively, what games do you play that have a low enough difficulty for you to enjoy?

I saw in a video that they included all sorts of options to make Uncharted 4 possible for just about everyone, so maybe you should look into those if it's mostly the difficulty that's bothering you.

Dude... first time every playing an uncharted game -- and I beat it on Crushing (Uncharted 1). I honestly struggled with it(about 650 deaths with another 150 from me attempting crazy jumps), but for not even being good at shooters -- I beat it.

If you are complaining about enemies being bullet sponges you are doing one of two things wrong:
1.) Playing on too high of a difficulty (crushing and brutal do truly require headshots for 80% of your kills).
2.) Playing anything twin stick. You simply must have awful eye-hand coordination.

Give up gaming, you are not very good at them. Can you even play pokemon?

Uncharted. Hard. Unfair. What ?

And UC4 has an auto aim option too.

Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you are necessarily right.
