Forums - Gaming - Not visiting any gaming website until E3 has started

After reading about the Skyrim remaster rumour I no longer want to look at any more sites until E3 has begun.  Only the other day I was thinking that I'd like a Skyrim Remaster for PS4, and now it might be really happening.

But you know what, I wished I had had it revealed to me for the first time while watching E3, so to avoid ruining anymore surprises I'm not visiting any gaming websites (although I might reply to a few people on this thread today).

Sony want to make money by selling art, Nintendo want to make money by selling fun, Microsoft want to make money.

Dont check Twitter either. That's one of the reasons I gave up on avoiding leaks, Twitter is just the fastest and easiest way to get them (which is ironically the main tool I use to write articles )

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Even apart from the rumors, companies are all about revealing games early, and releasing "E3 trailers" to the entire world BEFORE E3, which makes positively zero sense. Last year's Fallout 4 thing really miffed me.

I'm sure it has absolutely nothing to do with E3's dwingling relevance that I am totally making up.

You better not watch E3 then. I heard they're gonna spoil all the games for this and next year!

Isn't it proof oft he opposite though? Companies are trying to get their news out before E3 to not drown in the news flood at and after E3.

Or it's proof of the former, because companies no longer need to have their reveals at E3 to get E3 tier coverage.

E3 is still bigger than any other regular day so it doesn't make sense to not reveal at E3 because it's "not popular enough".

There's nothing I'm exited for so I'm not going to watch e3 this year. I'm planning to get my news here the sooner the better.

Eh, for something like Zelda that's been so skimpy on content, I'd take a leak.
