Gay men are definitely less accepted than lesbians, yes. Bullying methods though tend to vary by gender; where male bullies are more likely to openly verbally/physically attack their victims, female bullies tend to be more subtle; they ostracize, spread malicious rumours, leave nasty notes, deface the victim's property, etc. As such female bullying often goes unnoticed by all but the victim and perpetrators.

The incident I'm talking about was back in 2002-2005. Things have generally improved for gays and lesbians since then, though of course we still have a long way to go.

I just thought of a perfect example for female bullying. Sophomore year we had a new girl show up in school and just about all of us liked her. She was very pretty in a casual sort of way, funny, goofy; basically likable in every way. She ended up leaving that year and I figured she moved, but we later learned that she had been so tormented by the girls of the school for that year that she convinced her parents to let her switch.

It's funny because they all seem so nice that it's almost impossible to believe they're capable of any kind of bullying, but they were sufficiently terrible to actually cause a girl to swap schools. So yes, clearly there was plenty happening that I was absolutely oblivious to.

I have a relative who gets bullied in school quite a lot as well. However, it's for his physical appearance(instead of sexuality).

People are assholes. My father taught me to be nice to everyone, even if you don't like them too much. Only exception is if you hate the person due to them being a prick for no reason. Maybe we'd be in a much better condition if more people were taught that

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

Why just ask about gay and lesbian people? Gonna leave us bisexuals out of the mix?

I watched a youtube video of two guys kissing when i was maybe 11. And thought is this legal ? can they do this ? Is it normal ? Then I asked an older friend of mine who explained it to me.
