After the month of Release I don't think that the Slim will be able to hold enought mommentum (being even more expensive than the normal console) to surpass the PS4 sales on NPD for more than 1 Month.

Its the cheapest 4k blue ray player on the market that might really give a boost once the reviews about the device start coming online, I know at least 4 friends with a 4k TV that are looking to buy one just for this feature

I used the word 'could' for a reason. I believe there are enough hardcore XB1 fans who will buy the XB1s out of habit to push it high enough to beat the PS4 in August. It might not work out that way but it's the best chance MS have had for a very long time.

sony will cut the price early august to fight with x1 slim
they did the same thing last year in october
cutting ps4 price early helped them to slow halo 5 bundle momentum

I'll laugh when NEO is more expensive but significantly higher selling and higher rated for UHD.

Ok, I'm still skeptical, because it could be bluRay upscaling to 4k. If it's a full 4k (no upscaling), this is a really good price nearly unbelievable.
