Yeah, unless people really want UHD blu-ray playback or need a smaller console, those insane deals Amazon was offering with the 3 game holiday bundles were a much better deal. For $20 more than the 500gb S, you got a 1tb hdd, five games and two controllers. The new console looks pretty slick, though, so some people will just want it for the sleekness. 

I really wished Japanese games had a presence in Sony's conference, though. I know, I know, TGS, but there are westerners that like Japanese games. And who knows, gamers who would've otherwise not have heard of these games could get interested.

Yeah. I'm not a huge fan of Japanese games myself, but I don't understand why a game like Gravity Rush 2 wasn't at the conference but instead got a trailer immediatley after. Would have been a nice trailer for in the middle of the conference.

All the new software preorders and abiibos are messing things up at the moment. I doubt we'll get a clear picture for well over a week with E3 still motivating sales like this. There's definitely a chance for MS to finally win an NPD though.

Those Xbox One Slim numbers isn't Pre-orders ?, or the console already launched ?.

If is just Pre-orders so there is no way that they can win this NPD, but they will probably win the NPD in the month of release of the Xbox Slim.

I'm talking about the NPD when this releases. I think it's August but can't remember. Of course the down side for MS is that they're likely to lose the next two NPDs by a larger margin than they would have done.

Well they have been giving the old model away for cheap and with many things with it, Im sure they will find interest in both products but you are right
