All of this is using DX11 games. Dx12 is strictly for windows 10 you'd be an idiot to continue gaming on anything but windows 10. Games that are already out are moving to DX12 and being patched. I'm done with this. Your way to concerned with winning this argument to look at this objectively.

Microsoft is gonna kill .exe files, and make everything be UWP which only works though their store.

Kill .exe files???? Can you even do that? I mean that is the norm and every app is opened that way so does that mean every app becomes useless?

It can't, because there is a ton of Windows services that rely on .exe file support. :P

As for Datamining, mobile OS's have been doing it for years, why is it a problem only if Windows does it?

UWP is garbage though and it will likely falter for PC gamers, it's hard to displace something that people genuinely love, like Steam.

Rubbish. There is tons of reasons to upgrade, maybe not for you, but for plenty of others there is.

How many games currently support DX12? Yeah.... until then, no point in upgrading to Windows 10.
