so the PS4 neo will as strong as the gtx 1080??
And this is the result for the potential 2304 shader core model. There could also be a 2560 core model of polaris 10.

we don't know yet, the rumors are that in terms of performance on Vulkan DX12 benchmarks AMD should have a monumental advantage over Nvidia. The simple TFlop count won't tell the whole story this time around, especially with the main consoles being built under AMD APUs and games being optimized for their hardware.
i'm waiting a few more months and proper testing on the 1080 and top Polaris 10 card before making a purchase. Especially the VR testing on both
Really disappointing when you consider how much of an improvement GP104 is in perf/transistor ...
I was expecting P10 to at least match a full fledged Fiji but it might not be so bad when you contemplate how the former will most likely have better overclocking capabilities ...
Not bad tbh provided the pricing is right!
PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

My money is on Polaris 11, which isn't in this benchmark. Less than 50w, performance above PS4's GPU but behind PS4K Neo's rumored GPU. |
the Polaris 11 chip is said to have less shader cores than the current PS4 chip - I doubt they use that/can use that
I think it will be the Polaris 10 with a few CUs cut and at lower clock to increase yields/ decrease power consumption
