Just look at my comparison videos.
Yes the has been some edits to the textures, yes every texture has not been ripped and applyed yet (Like i said this mod is still work in progress),
Maybe its cos the Wiiu is only displaying everything at 720P, and with this being in 1440P the characters and stuff look much shaper.
So its possible it makes it easier to see that the WiiU textures are not in that high of a res in the first place.
With upscaling what you gotta remember the textures still stay the same res, so maybe it makes it stand out more?.
But the plan is to have every texture in a much higher res then the WiiU version so everything blends in better. but like i said its still work in progress.

Wind Waker HD is 1080p, not 720p. And I reaffirm in my statement: textures on Wii U look a lot better than in this mod. I'm ok if this is still a work in progress, but I'm just talking about what it is right now. If a month later you open another post to show your progress and the mod looks better, I will say it looks better. But I'm not gonna say to you that this is impressive right now, because it's not. Sorry if I'm being a bit rude, but that's how I'm.
