Forums - Gaming - FUZE launches Tomahawk F1 | A console for China

Oscar Wilde says it better than I can:

Around the Network

Nvidia Tegra K1 (4 Core A15 @ 2.2GHz
Nvidia Keppler @ 852Mhz (325GLOPS)
4GB DDR3 RAM @ 933Mhz
32GB eMMC storage (Elite = 500GB HDD)
Wi-Fi & Bluetooth support
HDMI, USB 3.0 x 1, Ethernet (Elite = Qi Wireless controller charger)
Fuze OS (Android) + Open GL 4.4 & Open GL ES 3.1 support
Chinese & English game support

325 Gflops... is alot less than the 1.84 Teraflops of the PS4.
However.... these games look better than anything the Quya had.

Some of those games shown in the video actually looked decentish.

This is going to sell alot better than Ouya in my opinion.

-PS4 outer shell copy, but its trapezoid design was too hard to copy
-Xbone controller
-UI straight ripoff from PS4

I checked like 10 of those games and all of them are on windows and none on android. So either they have a great emulator or those games are yet to be ported.

Also lol @ "no physical media"^^

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I never quite understand the Chinese.... why don't they just channel their apparent resources and willingness into making their own original products. It's like they can't just help but rip off other designs.

Console looks like a PS4. Controller looks like an XB1 controller. UI looks like the PS4 dynamic menu. Store looks like the PS store.

They obviously have he talent to make a good look alike. so why didn't they just make something genuinely new?

Its actually a hybrid between the PS4 and PS3.

It appears the menu tiles are static (PS3), the friends list is the last tile (PS3), the Store has a shopping back icon and is the first and only locked tile (PS4), and the hover over the tile brings up other tiles (PS4 libary menu mostly).

if it has no physical media then apple TV and everything else is a console if you can plug in a controller.
