But it had no effect at all on the sales, it sold like hot cakes. Black Ops 2 also got many many many dislikes on YouTube and other platforms - sold like a charm. That said, I'm personally more into Battlefield 1, because I have been waiting for a game in WW1 for a loooooong time! I really like that scenario. But I don't think IW will be a bad game either. I think both will be great games.

I agree, the WW1 setting for me means BF1 wins by default, though I doubt I end up buying either one.

I was talking about launching with.  If we're adding on all the dlc battlefield 4 wins that by a country mile.  It's the best supported shooter this gen.  Up there with the likes of the fantastic driveclub for post launch support this gen. 

 

Bf4 and titanfall both released on pc.  Despite them almost giving titanfall away for free on pc the same year it released there is literally around 25 times less people playing titanfall.  The numbers speak for themselves.  The people have spoken.

Black Ops III is kind of a unique situation though, it's the de facto standard PS4 SKU which adds a ton of copies sold, and it's pretty much the only CoD nowadays that isn't complete garbage imho. Those Treyarch zombie modes add a ton of popularity and longevity.

Then again, Battlefront was bundled with a ton of PS4's over the holidays, and has basically been dirt cheap for awhile now. So it's probably about even. But yeah, lots of people were expecting much more from Battlefront thanks to the Episode 7 tie-in. If they only knew how badly DICE would drop the ball.

Lol battlefront is being sold normally at $30 and wasn't bundle as much as cod lol.  Dirt cheap is $10 and battlefront hasn't dropped into thet range.  we've seen in the past EA aren't afraid to drop a shooter struggling to stay relevant (particularly online) down to $10.

Uh, Battlefield 4 is $10 right now on every platform. Oops, time for more backpedaling I guess LOL.

Also, I never said or implied that Battlefront was as bundled as Blops 3. And $30 is dirt cheap, plus its been cheaper. Hope that helps.
