Forums - Gaming - DICE Employees Make Fun of COD Trailer

Employees over at DICE, the developer behind Battlefield, tweeted some unflattering comments about the new trailer. Roland Smedberg, their Media & Video Editor, called the trailer "quaint". He later criticized the poor lighting, and promised the Internet that they'd be much more impressed come 4pm on May 6, when DICE is releasing Battlefield 1.

Randy Evans, Senior Video & Media Director of DICE criticized CoD's new trailer as well

DICE engineer Julian Manolov

I don't blame them. The trailer they made looks far better.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

10 years old but sell 10 times as many copies :)

sales=/=quality ;)

Honestly, the Battlefield 1 trailer looks way, way better. He's a bit of a douche, but after seeing the B1 trailer I get why XD.

it certainly does not. it doesnt even sell twice as much.

@OP: well they certainly arent acting in a professional manner.. what they are doing just seems really tacky. but doesnt mean they arent right, the trailer was shit, the editing was bad, and the graphics looked out dated.

It was still a dick thing to do, but I mean...their trailer was soooooo much better.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Trailer means nothing when COD is an overall much more solid franchise than Battlefield will ever be ...

They're right, but it's unprofessional and childish.
