Forums - Gaming - Activision reacts to COD Infinite War trailer being so disliked on YouTube

The trailer was nice but horrible cover of Space Oddity, should've used Bowie's original.

Well I never cared for call of duty, but tbh I would like to play a WW2 type shooter :O. I think they should do it.

I thought the COD Infinite Warfare trailer was the most interesting looking COD game in a long time.

Me too :)

So how on earth have they manage to sell so much this far? This is literally the least innovative gaming series ever made.

Because cod4 created a monster.  An unstoppable beast.  it's scary how big the sales might be now that they're throwing remasters in.

Dang, there was a negative reaction to it? I figured people would be very happy about it. The series continues strong, so I figured people would just eat this up. Oh well, the game's still gonna sell plenty well, so Acti doesn't need to worry about it.

Lol gamers. you do something new and different. they bitch. You don't do something new, they bitch.

I think Activation should just ignore them. I for one haven't bought a COD game in like 4/5yrs.... but that's just cause I'm just tired with the glut of FPS games out there. I would only buy 1 FPS per year. At most two..... and they have to be very different. I think it's the most saturated gaming genre we have.

too true..

..although from what i've heard around the interwebs is much of the dislikes was directed at the trailer's music not the game.  i think the game will do fine and activision has nothing too much to worry about because there is such a thing as wanting a game and hating the trailer.  they just need to make sure marketing does a better job with the next trailer.
