It was definitely a good game, but not in the same league as GTA, imo.

I'm hearing a lot of good things about GTA V. The last one I played was San Andreas, which was about urban street gangs. 

I am now going to pick up the game to see if I will like it. I should have referred to San Andreas in the thread title since that is the one I played, but that was ages ago. Come to think of it, I played San Andreas on the first X Box. I feel so old now.

Definitely pick up GTA 5. There's a reason that it's still selling well, over 2 years after release.
