Yeah, it's most welcome. One of the reasons I bought Gears Ultimate was to get the digital versions of the first four games. And I was tempted to buy Quantum Break to get digital codes for Alan Wake/American Nightmare, but balked at the last minute. Microsoft has been doing a solid job with GWG, also. Lately, GWG has been better than PS+, and with only four games versus six.
Backward compatibility has been huge too. I really wish Sony would follow suit.
I would love to agree with you, but I couldn't care less about 360 BC. To me it's the most worthless feature that MS added to Xbox One. The 360 was already a HD console, unlike previous gens, it's just a matter of keeping an extra box under you tv. X1 doesn't make your 360 games run better or smoother, in fact the emulation isn't even great. If they want to impress me, give us og Xbox BC, perfect this time.
I'd rather have a Gears remaster, Gears 2 & 3 in 1080p60, then a Gears 1 "Ultimate" and the others on 360 emulation.

This is 100% factually incorrect. Do you even own an XB1 and have you played anything on BC? I kinda doubt it if you'd make statements like this.
The emulation actually uses the power of the XB1 to have better deinterlacing and they look better and usually run better, especially the Gears series, which I've been replaying the last few weeks. Making completely false statements and acting like 1080p and 60fps are the most important factors in whether a game is good or not tells me you have no idea what you're talking about.

What is 100% factually incorrect? That some of the biggest, major, AAA games like Mass Effect, Gears 3, Halo Reach etc have lower framerates at certain areas so calling it "not great" is factually incorrect? Maybe you should look up at those words mean before making absolute statements like these (lmao disagrees with 1 sentence, says I should stop making 100% completely false statements), unless you did your own research by comparing every BC title or if you were too poor/unskilled for that, watch analyses of guys like Digital Foundry and came to the conclusion that X1 emu is better in every instance, you don't have the luxury to claim that others are factually incorrect.

And no games don't look better, there is no higher AA solution and they don't run at higher res, it's the same 720p presentation. Notice also on the screenshot where the 360 has sharper ground textures.

Digital Foundry is a joke and I don't give anything they say any merit, try again.
On second thought, don't try again, actually. Just stop, please.

Yeah, that's the response you'd give in the face of overwhelming evidence proving you wrong, so typical. I shouldn't have bothered with you when I read "emulation actually uses the power of the XB1 to have better deinterlacing", real expert this guy
