Forums - PC - the truth about WoW

I played it for a few hours a week for a few months on and off. I just did not care too much for it. I did like to actually read all the quests and take my time doing them. I tried a raid once and I quit that day because I realized that I had leveled up a player into the 50s and all that was left was boring raids and crazy item rules imposed by others that really took away from the experience.

It's the exact opposite for me. I've tried it three times now and each time it's bored me to tears, and I even love MMO's.

I suppose you actually play with other people to do raids or whatever, but for the most part it's a single player MMO. MMO's are supposed to be about the community and that game has one of the worst communities I've ever seen in an MMO.

 Ditto to that.

@twesterm

did you enjoy Guild Wars?

I never got into Guildwars.  I had some friends that played and they tried to get me to but nothing really sounded fun to me.

The best defense is abstinence.

Christian Coalition approved. (just kidding, don't crucify me... wait no... I'm leaving)
