Forums - Gaming - Final Fantasy's framerate is disappointing

This reminds me how much better casual gamers have it. They just play the freaking game and if they enjoy it, great. If they don't like the gameplay/story, they quit. Simple as that. Maybe ignorance is bliss, but I don't see how they have it any worse than people here obsessing over the tiniest detail.

They don't waste their time and energy worrying about imperfect graphics in this and that area.

Like I get finding the graphics of a game like Devil's 3rd unacceptable and distracting, but this demo? Where you have to stop and zoom to find a problem?

Give me a break.

I consider myself lucky that I couldn't spot the difference between 30fps and 60fps even if my life depended on it. Technical flaws have to be huge for me to notice them. Last time I noticed graphical problems was playing The Evil Within on PS3 where the texture popins where impossible to miss but even then it didn't stop my enjoyment of the game.

I have a friend who cannot stand 60fps. xD

He says it freaks out his head and eyes. I was showing him TLOU Remastered to him the other day when he told me that...

I went into the options and switched to 30fps. My eyes started to bleed. O_o

But after, like, five minutes, my brain got used to the slideshow effect and everything felt smooth again. But it's only when I switch from 60 to 30 that this kind of thing happen to me. I'm fully content with games being 30fps if they hold that framerate steadily. It's judder and frame drops that affect my eyes the most. But if the framerate is locked, I really don't mind 30fps.

Glad to see that more people who frequent forums feel this way.

You guys have rotten your brains with those PCs running games at 4k and 120fps.

Gameplay > Sound > Story >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Graphics

I'd rather have my PC spoil me than dealing with sub-30FPS framerate issues ...

You have become a pussy fatslob.

Why not complain about the battle system? Come on guys, gameplay is king, fuck graphics.

PS: I admit that the FPS suck! But I can bare with it, I played Skyrim on a PS3.

PS2: As for the battle system i'm not sure... there is so little to do... I don't want to complain about it before it releases but I'm not entirely sold on it.

PS3: Square, please release the fucking duscae demo for us peasants!

Fuck the gameplay!

If I wanted to talk about the gameplay I would do it in another thread but instead we're here talking about the game's crappy ass framerate ...

You can't because every other thread about FFXV is about it's lack of pixels and framerate!

By the way why do you care? You are going to play the Pc version at 4k/120fps, why complain about the console version? You filthy PC elitist begone from this thread!

When it comes to what we can expect when it comes to gameplay, only the final battle in the Platinum Demo gives an actual relevant idea as to what to expect.

But the demo doesn't really does a good job to explain anything. If you've played the Duscae demo, it helps quite a bit, but there are still things that are new.

This video gives an in-depth look into what's actually possible to do in the Platinum Demo, and should gives everyone here a better understanding about the kind of depth we can expect from the final battle system. That being said, it doesn't feature everything and there will be more stuff unlocked through the course of the final game, as is the case with any demo.

You don't know that and even I don't know either ...

I could end up caving in getting a PS4 but I don't want to go around loathing anymore like Vivster does about framerates ...

Just hope to god there exists a PS4K ...

And hope to god that the PS4K can deliver consistent 30/60 fps!
