Your right Bralod.
I still think Undertale is the better game, though.
The pole is just "which do you like more".

Cave Story is probably one of the best things I've played in my life.
Undertale is very good, at times amazing. But Cave Story...it's just a whole new level.

Cave Story is a classic by now, it was released in 2004 if I'm not mistaken, made by a single guy, and the reason why we have pixelated old-school games, usually indies, being widely accepted nowdays, it's the first flame of the indie boom we got and are still getting, amazing beautiful made sprite games in the age of completely realistic games being relevant at some extent, it's due to Cave Story starting it all. |
I was simply asking which one you enjoyed more.
Also, yes, Indie games would have had an entirely different world if Cave Story wasn't released. it set the stage for indie games to boom, showing you don't need to be a big company to make good games

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

Same feeling when I played it in '08.
Glad it wasn't ruined by sequels and whatnot. Cave Story and Undertale are such gems.
