Those UC4 bundles haven't exactly flown off the shelf so I'd say it depends entirely on stock. Sony can't simply add value to that bundle without having to then update everyone's preorder, so I'm guessing a vanilla PS4 with UC4 for $350 on the day of release. Sony could easily shift those last UNC bundles by adding TLOU but, like I said, it would cost them in the long run because they'd have to update everyone's preorder. We'll see how it goes but as of now I think Sony have made good on their Activision deal and should start thinking closer to home.

It'd cut into the actual UC4 bundles so I doubt they'll do it before the release.

Perhaps they'll ship the vanilla bundle with the digital code a few days earlier? I still think they'll be hoping to shift that UC4 bundles first.

If it was Christmas perhaps Sony wouldn't have this 'slight' problem but this is the time of the year when people are thinking of price above all else. Put that same bundle out at Christmas with the UC Collection and you've got a winner, especially if you include TLOU and call it the 'Naughty Dog bundle'. We'll have to find out what third party games Sony are going to be marketing though. With limited window space, Sony will want to encourage more 3rd party deals by giving them the limelight.

I'm assuming there's quite a lot of UC4 bundle stock still out there but for all I know Sony might just keep restocking. We'll see but I'm not convinced they would do that. It's not out of the question but it feels counter productive IF sales of the UC4 bundle is in fact doing badly. They might bite the bullet short term and promote what they've got in stock later, that way they could do what you're suggesting, still sell the UC4 bundle (with bonus) and not piss off people who have already preordered.
