Forums - Gaming - PAL week ending 23th ==> ???

It seems the sales datas are a bit late...
Was it expected ? or not ?

do you know when they will be released (ioi) ?

It is a quite important week for the Xbox360 (and so the PS3)
Now, there are some big advertising for the Xbox360 here in France  (Xbox360 at 199euros)

what sales are you expecting for the 3 consoles ?

Wii : 82k

Xbox360 : 72k

PS3 : 67k

long holiday i think.

Wii : 82k
Xbox360 : 72k(60k)

PS3 : 67k (70k)

Just added my numbers :D

Remember, X360's price-cut has had a full week now... So expect X360 to be above PS3 and maybe even above Wii since units are heading to the US to accompany Brawl!

THE NETHERLANDS

WOW

so nobody is interested by the Xbox360 vs PS3 vs Wii sales in PAL ???

How arcade will do versus Wii ?

How premium/elite will do versus PS3 ?

...

be prepared to eat crow.

It would need about a 60% increase ontop of the 40% it already had... so basically over 100% increase from week before last.

And GT5 is just around the corner. I doubt the 360 can top the PS3, but it will be a lot closer

The blu-ray Ps3 bundle came out this week.(i heard) I wonder how well that will affect sales.

X360 probably will be higher than in the previous week but I doubt it can outsell PS3. I think that PS3 will sell 70-75k while X360 60-65k. It would be also quite interesting how Wii will perform. Will it level on not as high 80k level as last week?

looking at the Wii Software for the Netherlands and UK I would say that the Wii will crack 100k. Chart track reports a 60% increase in sales for M&S, and WiiPlay (which did not even chart last week) rebounded to number 7. This seems to indicate better HW sales for Wii.

I think 360 sales can beat PS3 in others. I think the cheaper 360 might be swaying would be buyers from the PS3 to the 360. This will not last for long, but this week should be interesting.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
