PlayStation VR's release date announcement overnight has led to a huge rise in sales for its required camera accessory.

Sony announced a £349 price for PlayStation VR last night, though this price doesn't include the required PlayStation Camera or any optional Move controllers – PS4's DualShock is good enough for a VR experience.

On Amazon, sales of the PlayStation Camera are up 975 per cent, seeing its sales rank jump from No.215 to No.20. Amazon sells the camera for £39.

Similarly, the PS VR compatible Move Controller has seen its sales rise by 305 per cent, and a PS4 Camera Stand is also up by 243 per cent.

It seems PS VR early adopters are snapping up the required camera early in case of stock shortages - or price increases - down the line.

Wow, PS Move sure did jump. From 625th and 848th to 140th and 209th. I wonder if this will mean a resurrection of motion controlls (will Wii VR be a thing in the future? Time Wiill tell).

Not for every game, no, but I'm sure there must be some that pla (and feel) better with it.

No Man's Sky + Playstation VR = Sucess, the 2 are having a lot of sucess on Pre-order, if the VR Version will be exclusive to Playstation VR, is a good advantage for the System, Sony, will be smart if they make it.

If they can make it happen they will. We have no idea yet whether it's even possible to port No Man's Sky over to the PSVR. Perhaps it requires a more powerful VR headset? Who knows.

We are on  the second half of March, i doubt that any company will release something before E3, now, they will save their cards for the E3'S Battlefield.

Yea wouldn't expect that type of game to be in the top 10 in amazon xD its nice to see it though .
