I think only in very basic games or on very low settings can this system reach the needed 1440p/90 (PCVR usually even renders above screen-res to make up for distortion) , but it could be good for video experience and the like. What could make this a viable alternative for high-end gamers would be if AMD somehow included very very potent/low latency streaming capabilities to stream games from a high-end rig to this HMD.

I still maintain everything else I said about VR being the second coming. Not for me personally, but I do think it will have a tangible impact on mankind.
