How many games does this bring the service up to? It has to be well over 100 by now...

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

In the US it launched over 100 and is somewhere currently between 250-300.

it launched over a hundred.  did a quick google search and the top hit was an advertisement saying they have over 300 titles.  probably not inclusive of the 22 they just added.

Jesus, that's a lot of games.

I don't get it. All Uncharted games (minus the new one because it has not released, and the Vita one) can be bought on PS4 without the need of any extra service. Flower (which I happen to own on Ps4), and I think Journey too, are also available. What's the point of adding those?

Because PSNow isn't just for those who own consoles.

psnow supports ps3, ps4, psvita, some bluray players, and some smarttvs as devices.  (btw - pc was on the roadmap originally at least)

psnow supports game rentals.

psnow supposts a gaming subscription model.

vs.

ps4 supports ps4.

ps4 supports purchase to own.

how are people so blind to see these are different services even if they are the same content.   honest question:  do you not understand why movies release in theaters, blu-rays, streaming rental services, and via cable tv channels?

Sony really need to have the same catalogue of games for all countries instead of different ones. Is there a place where I can see the entire UK catalogue?

That's not a very good analogy. I can get a blu-ray of a movie that no longer is being shown on theaters, but I can't bring Naughty Dog to put their games on theater with a controller to play it. I do buy their blu-ray, because that's the main way of playing the game.

I'd understand a streaming rental service if blu-rays were to stop existing, and even then you can digitally purchase movies/games so that you don't have to resort to streaming.

Heck, GribbleGrunger's comment makes much more sense. PSNow is aimed for people without consoles, mainly. Because then again there's no point on puting Flower and Journey to be streamed in Ps3, PSVita or Ps4. Which is why I wonder they put them in the first place.
