I'm still waiting to find out all the things Hello Games are holding back but I'll be doing that whilst playing. I'm already sold on the simple idea of a universe that feels infinite, anything else is just an added bonus to me.

For me I'm just going to play in knowing it has it's own flaws while enjoying my rides through space. It still won't stop me from wishing it had aspects from other titles similar to it though.

What flaws? I think this has been my bone of contention to be honest. Things that aren't in the game that you want aren't 'flaws'. It's not a flaw that I can't fly on a dragon in The Witcher 3, it's just something that isn't there.

So this whole discussion between is both is because you flat out disagree with me seeing a game having flaws because you think there are virtually none to be had?. Are you going to pull the "so you agree with me?" type discussion sooner or later?. I honestly don't mind that you disagree with me but at the end of the day, every game has it;s ups and downs, pros and cons, flaws and perfections, no game is an objective master piece.

What? You can't say something has flaws because it doesn't have things you wanted. I haven't got a clue what a conversation about something completely different has to do with THIS conversation.

*snip*

Well you probably shouldn't have bothered with talking to me if all you were wanting to do was disagree.

Look at the conversation again without the slight derailment. This WAS a civilised conversation between two people with different views that's been changed because of text interpretation. If a game doesn't have the things I want, I don't buy it. It's not a flaw, it's just not for me, which brings us back to my original comment. Hell, I even advised you to wait before you buy.

You advised me to wait despite me doing my own research and forming my own opinions and then telling me not to buy the game. Civilised or not you have this weird aura about you when you talk with others on something you like, as if you want to tell me "you're wrong, don't buy the game if you don't like some aprt of it", but you don't seem to get that I am going to buy the game but the game will have flaws, just like every other game (without going back to what you just said because now we're talking of flaws in general, not what I said so we don't end up going in circles over and over).

No way. First off I don't believe Evolve was all that hyped, and secondly they are absolutely nothing alike.

I remember seeing previews and gameplay for Evolve and thinking it wasn't going to be very good...and I was right. No Man's Sky on the other hand looks like it could be incredible and I'm pretty sure my opinion on it won't change post launch.

Well, we can discuss any flaws when the game releases and we find out what they are (if any). Until then, the game doesn't have any flaws because we've not seen any other than perhaps the occasional pop in; although that's not really pop in, it's the maths creating the world as you explore it. What you're doing is creating expectations that aren't being met and then calling them flaws. Can't you see that?
