Comparing SO3 animations to Final Fantasy X, FFX were amazing. The developers of Star Ocean never did do amazing animations even with 3 and 4.

This is true. During the development of Star Ocean 3, tri-Ace wanted the animations to be "Sentai" like (we know as Power Rangers). That animation style has become a staple for their 3D games.

Indeed, although I would say that Resonance of Fate's animations were very good and fit the premise.
