Figourheads looks intresting though because of the cross over from Xenogears.

*edit: supposedly its a shooter.... that just killed all the hype I had.

The trailer in the OP, makes it seem like it could still be a rpg, however look at this one:

^ video has actual gameplay of 5v5 mech shooter.

Absolutely 0 challenge as well. It takes you to the boss battles for two missions where your mechs are OP and cannot lose, then it takes you to a few dungeons that hand you easy grinding areas to get the best Gear and ground equipment. It was like the first disk they really pushed you to think ahead, even to the point of knowing you need to conserve fuel so you have to run from battles, then it hands you the last quarter of the game and the ending.
