16GB RAM....60GB HD Space... Unexpected...
16gb RAM for recommended?, even with their supposed DX 12 "improvements" I find that to be bloated. The game doesn't look massively night and day different and before DX 12 it was on 10-11, it being made "from the ground up" but requires more power for little gains is just plain stupid. Again another game that I would have wanted but had to wait very long for, only for it to become exclusive to a store and OS that I don't want, thanks MS. I guess from this point on I can forget about their "commitment" plans for another decade or two because as far as this goes it's more akin o "you jump through my hoops k?".
I can't see that 980ti doing 4k 60fps on a single card because I don't see that card doing it for other games from the benches I;ve been looking at from multiple users.

The ideal specs doesn't make sense, the 980Ti is a lot faster than a 390X, which is only slightly faster than the 290X/970 cards listed in the recommended specs. The only reason for that would be the amount of VRAM, with the ideal specs asking for more than 4GB.
But, as Chazore said, the game seems to be very badly optimized. In fact, all the announced DX12/Windows Store games seem to suffer the same poor optimization (Quantum Break also asks for 16GB of RAM).
Please excuse my bad English.
Former gaming PC: i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070
Current gaming PC: R5-7600, 32GB RAM 6000MT/s (CL30) and a RX 9060XT 16GB
Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.
Also this doesn't fill me with much joy/hope:

This of course asking you for a 980ti, even for 4k, that isn't really a down to earth thing to ask for a really late port job, the game wasn't scrapped and then built exclusively for PC, it was passed down from X1 and had a few changes made.

Also doin't forget that by being locked to their store, there are also problems that they still have not addressed nor fully intended to sort out like:
- No SLI/Crossfire,
- Windows 10 store download is buggy,
- No refund policy explained,
- Vsync is always on,
- Always borderless fullscreen,
- Game files are protected,
- Can't launch it via the exe (So adding it as a non steam game will not work)
- No fps/hardware monitor software works with it,
- You need to take control of the folder as admin if you want access to the files
- Mouse software which lets you create custom binds for each game doesn't work
- Say bye to using sweetfx and mods
- No overlays meaning no Steam Controller
The fact MS still hasn't said anything of the sort of mod support still has me wanting to stay distant from them.

It's the same wall, just with foliage removed and sharpened somewhat. (ever so slightly different wall textures if you want to include the other slight difference).

Does anybody know which games are actually exclusive to Xbox anymore? It almost seems like you'll just be able to download all of them off the Windows Store, before too long...

I really hope they see what happens when they don't sell a lot of copies due to the OS and store lock. I can't for the life of me ever see MS taking in full inspiration from Steam and adding a ton of features and mod support the way Valve shaped up Steam over the years.

What does Jack have to do with this? (I likely know the answer but will dance regardless).
