But thats just wrong, specially with pokken that doesnt really play like Tekken at all.

Two things, then.

Firstly, how exactly is it different, outside of simplified controls?

Secondly, even if we assume that it is radically different and an entirely new evolution (pun intended) of fighting games as a whole, that's still three games plus a "remastering" for the games list. I think I'm safe in saying my original point still stands if that's the case.

Yeah, it's called Pokken for something, obviously. Anyway, you are also forgetting that this is a late arcade port, so this isn't a new original Wii U game either. Basically only Star Fox from the ones mentioned by the OP are new.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

That's nitpicking at its best, as always. Pokken has never been released in any console before and was available less than 8 months ago in arcades only in Japan, the wiiu version has several things and modes that the arcade doesnt, the game is also made from the ground in a different hardware (yes they confirmed the arcade is not a wiiu but a more powerfull machine, on a interview they say they had a very hard time making it look so similar on wiiu without killing the framerate) and that game was released there with half of the pokemons this one has from the go. It obviously counts as a new game and everybody thinks of it like that since 95% of the people about to get it has never played it.

And no, the game is not like Tekken, the developers themself warned about it, I though it was, then I saw the gameplay and they were right, is not even close.

Yep, I agree with this. I played Tekken Tag Tournament, and the PSOne/Two Tekkens, and even if you could see some influences, they're not the same. They resemble way more Naruto games, though maybe a bit more complicated. In fact, it seems like a new kind of fighter, maybe in the middle point between the accesibility of Naruto, and the hardcoreness (does this word exist? lol) of SFV or Tekken.

Yes, some previews point that it feels kind like a new thing, and it takes time to get used to it, at first you dont know what you are doing because the system is quite unique, even if is very based on Naruto style.

The ones arriving are good, theres just not a lot of them. Theres like 8 retails games coming to the system this year. If every single one is your cup of tea then I guess it ain't that bad.

Yeah that's a pretty week line up of new games.  Pretty similar to other years so hard to decide if it's better or worse.

In terms of multiplatforms sure, in terms of exclusives not, and since people, like me, buys the console for those exclusives, its ok.

If something like Paper Mario 5 becomes true, then even on its last year wiiu is gonna have more quality exclusives than Ps4 in 2014 and 2015 combined.

User was warned for this, and another, post in here ~ CGI-Quality

I'm not talking about your personal preferences.  I'm talking about the Wii U library.  Including remasters it's still bad,  I'm just saying that this year's definitely ain't more impressive than other years and it's unlikely to be.  Can't see too many new wii u games announced when they're working on the NX.

I wouldn't call 3 games good, to each their own I guess.

If Zelda U gets finally released this year, then yes, it would be a great year for me.
If not, well, I´m seriously thinking about buying some 3ds games just to play something. I was hyped for some wii u games, but right now the only game besides Zelda U that I like is TPHD.

I'd say that the 3DS lineup is really good if you like JRPGs and other japanese games, but Wii U's lineup hasn't been good for a long time now and 2016 isn't looking any better. I'll buy Star Fox, TP's port, SMT x FE and Zelda U plus some indies, I'm sure that all of them will be great games, but the list is just too short.

TP HD, Pokken, SMT x FE and Zelda WiiU are all pre-ordered for me. haven't completed all other WiiU games that I own. plus other backlog games that I have on other consoles.
