What are your expectations, are you excited?

Reminds me of KI3. First feels so empty but grows with the moment and honestly I like it. Like Killer Instinct it is always nice to boot up the game after some time and have new things think it is also better for the sales.

I was thinking the same,

Capcom may not have the opportunity of releasing diferrent versions of the same game like in previous iterations.

But at least they can keep the game fresh with periodical content, as long as its free.

Lets hope they keep their word.

I've just seen a 8.0 from 3DJuegos. It's on Metacritic so that counts :P.

And the We Got This Coverede one. A 5.0. He said: "Street Fighter V is easily the fighting title I’ve had the most fun playing in my 20 years of gaming."

But he says it's barebones, so, 5 points taken XDDDD

I have a friend who is a big fan of the series, he got it early too.

Spent more time on refining the gameplay and experience than putting in characters nobody played? They would have seen the numbers from online matches in SF4 so would have known who to put in the game.

Hmm, pie.

I do not like a gazillion characters in my fighting games, so many that feel like copies of each other. Just give me less but more unique characters.

Shame about the story though, what a failure, they put as little work into it as possible.

"Street Fighter V's gameplay sits with the best that gaming has to offer. The characters are truly distinct, the presentation first rate, and the netcode is utterly sublime. A lack of single player modes at launch dulls the sheen somewhat, and is the only element preventing the title from achieving true greatness. However, with the engrossing Capcom Fighters Network, the game's set up as a fantastic online playground in which to research techniques, stalk idols, view friends' failures, or simply sit back and watch – all the while waiting for your next challenger in this deep, enthralling fighter."

Exactly. I get that you could take points on the final score for having little content. But that seems too much, for a gaming that you claim is the more fun you had in 20 years of gaming xDDDD. I rather prefer a game with a refined gameplay and less characters than the opposite. You could put more characters and mode as free DLCs as time goes by, for example.

It’s hard to criticize something that seems like it was tailor-made for a wannabe competitive player like me, but I just can’t ignore how little Street Fighter 5 does for the average fighting game player. It sports a wonderful, diverse cast of characters, places a clear emphasis on strong fundamental play, it gives competitive players a great online experience, and it does it all while looking gorgeous. Strictly in terms of mechanics and competitive features, Street Fighter 5 is just about peerless, but it has quite a ways to go before it stacks up against other fighting games - including its own predecessor - in terms of overall content.

8.0 IGN.

Very good to hear it's that good for competitive players. But... I hope they pull a Splatoon and change SFV's score once more content is released, since one of their main complaints is that the game is lacking it.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won
