I know since it's on 2 consoles it was really only a matter of time, but as of Nintendo's reports yesterday we have the following numbers:

Smash Bros Wii U - 4.61 Million

Smash Bros 3DS - 7.92 Million

This puts us at a total of 12.53 million and Nintendo's reports have Brawl at 12.93 million. 

Now we've had a month since the those numbers, though I know we haven't sold 400,000K since then. 

I'm thinking by the end of April perhaps we'll have a new record holder for Smash (100K per month average for Jan-
April). How soon do you guys think it will happen?

It can happen around July, but people are going to debate if whether we could count Smash 3DS and Smash U as the same game. So that would be the beginning of the flamewars.

Its like comparing Bayonetta 1 and Bayonetta 2!

It's not a fair battle, but sure. Sm4sh is the best selling smash.

Definitely not a fair war with 2 consoles, but I just wanted to observe :)

And most big sellers on the other systems (COD, GTA) are multi system sellers, it's about time Smash branched out to a second system :D

Well, if you sum up both installed bases the total is still lower than the Wii, so there is that.But yeah, its not a straight up fight

Yeah, considering the install base difference between both consoles, I'm not sure that this would be a fair thing to compare.

Yeah, but the one on the Wii isn't nearly as good as this one.

I thought about that, but even with less install base Sm4sh has an advantage of having all the Smash fans that double dip, the home console fanbase and the growing handheld fanbase.
