Ehh people with gender dysmorphia have high rate of suicidal tendencies and deaths because of bullying etc. Their transition is what usually saves them from that.

Uhm, wouldn't actually being transgender be what starts the bullying?

Still,  one could encourage the treatment of gender dysphoria and discourage the bullying of it at the same time.

If we are embracing conditions just because not doing so depresses the people that suffer from them, then we should go all for it and embrace apotemnophilia too. It shares the same essential condition of not feeling content with one's body, it's their body and they're bullied in how they are considered crazy.

Although I don't understand it, I can accept that people do this as it really hurts no one. That said, no one can force anyone to take part in this delusion.

I'm not sure if I agree with your analogy. Maybe we don't choose our name or our family, but we certainly can change it afterwards, when we have use of reason.

Without the lip fillers, think she's pretty alright. At the end of the day, if she's not hurting anyone and she's happy then who's to say she's psychologically sick.

Think the only problem here is where does she go from here. Almost Everyone atleast has one addiction. Hopefully she finds the balance within herself and find happiness.

Personally, I think overcoming an addiction is harder but better than indulging in it.

She's happier. That's all there is to it.

She's not like Caitlyn Jenner that has the money and stature to put up the bill for everything so she could be perfect.Especially at that age.It's harder to be perfect Satisfaction usually does not come without a price.

See I never have problems with posters calling out on her failed surgery or her perspective of beauty but you're only here with that 1800's view of the world.

My brother has the condition, don't you even go there. Your views are completely ignorant, believe me experience have very powerful effects on views and attitudes. You only see for what it is, i also see it for what it does, it really isn't as simple as it seems.

Nah the way I see it. You either have no idea about what your sibling(does your sibling even wants you to refer him/her as a brother/sister) is going through attributing it to psychological illness as if it helps enough to his/ her own suffering.

I know this is cherry-picking, but if you're a male survivor and your only options are facing the cold world alone or changing your body to fit into an Amazon tribe, I'd say the later is the most optimal survival tactic.
