Play the Crusader class and spec into holy, it's basically like being Alexander Anderson.
Personally I play the Monk because I really like punching the shit out of everything while wielding different elements like I'm the Avatar.
I would really suggest that since you're new to the series that you try giving D1-2 a go, they are sold by Blizz on their store on PC and you can play them on modern OS's as well as them being dirt cheap and not needing beefy hw to run them.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
